Someone needs to ask McCain about Don Siegelman.

Check out this info that bobthedrummer dug up about McCain's connection to Abramoff and to Riley, the guy that stole the election from Don:

So, Senator McCain, when did you become part of the sewer that victimized Don Siegelman? Before the election or after? After the first bogus case was thrown out? When?

1. I only posted what Melanie Sloan and the great team at CREW have done
they deserve our support, the credit goes to CREW-and to many others.
McCain is truly another Manchurian Candidate, he has his American operators too...

5. One thing I did DU here is kept after Alice S. Fisher-the recess appointed
Edited on Wed Feb-27-08 03:34 PM by bobthedrummer
Chertoff mentored and former HCA lobbyist(Frist family) loyal Bushie still ensconced in the Criminal Division of the Justice Department.

Her first task there, despite many objections, was to "investigate" Jack Abramoff.

You can't make this stuff up-it's all too true.

Somebody else should DU Alice S. Fisher of the Criminal Division of Dept. of Justice.

9. Yes, add that to the list! The Abramoff coverup will stop McCain, sooner or later.
Apparently the Rs are too corrupt for their own good, and no R candidate has the sense to run against the Corrupt Rs!

:patriot:(This man may have run for president)
:dem: :kick:

"For most Americans, the very concept of political prisoners is remote and exotic, a practice that is associated with third-world dictatorships but is foreign to the American tradition. The idea that a prominent politician -- a former state governor -- could be tried on charges that many observers consider to be trumped-up, convicted in a trial that involved numerous questionable procedures, and then hauled off to prison in shackles immediately upon sentencing would be almost unbelievable."

My dad who passed away in 2004 would always vote Republican for president... he really wanted McCain to be president. I thought McCain was one of the good guys back then-I guess I was wrong...

I'm dissapointed and sad--I know I shouldn't be but I am...

This video may make you smile! Headzup: Karl Rove's Political Prosecution--
Dana Perino is asked about Karl Rove's involvement in the political prosecution of Don Siegelman.

Edited on Wed Feb-27-08 05:24 PM by electprogdems
truthful and the prosecution knew about it, and since the judge is using legal bullshit to prevent any (ANY???) written transcript of the trial, and since this is not 1950's East Germany and this is America, he really should man up and call one of friends and get Gov Siegelman released.

17. And two who worked for Riley are now on McCain's campaign
One of them, Swatek, was linked to Abramoff at the scrushy-report site.
I found this about it the other day.

I think that question needs to be asked.
