I need some info on shrub's "economic relief package"

2) Married couple with two children, earned income in excess of $3,000, AGI = $45,000, federal income tax is $323.

Individual rebate = $600

Child tax credit = $600
TOTAL = $1,200
3) Married couple with two children, AGI = $48,000, federal income tax is $773.

5) Married couple with two children, AGI = $160,000, federal income tax paid in excess of $1,200.

Individual rebate = $1,200

Child tax credit = $600

Phaseout reduction = ($500) <5% x ($160,000 - $150,000) = $500>
TOTAL = $1,300

1 All children referenced in the examples are qualifying children for purposes of the child tax credit.

"Just look at what that son-of-bitch Bush did now!!! Please open the attached PDF rebate breakdown and see how he treated the poor folks, the working family with kids, and even the single parents then gave everything to those filthy rich ba$tards. Makes me sick he's always screwing the poor and working class people!!

PS: Did I sound like a good liberal to you???? Did I fugg up the facts enough to sound good for the DEMOCRAT team? Think it will sound something like that from the liberal media? I knew I should have gone to Berkeley to better understand these economics.

PSS: After all the poor got a well deserved rebate and didn't pay sh!t into the system because they didn't make sh!t or in some cases didn't claim to make sh!t. Or at least I know it's hard for you to believe but, I do know some folks that do that. I guess with not paying sh!t being the criteria, the illegal's should qualify too.

PPSS: Wait a minute, my backward, redneck, inbred, hick education tells me you have to pay something first to even qualify for a "REBATE".
Rebate –noun- 1. a return of part of the original payment for some service or merchandise; partial refund. (Dictionary.com)

Hey...I just couldn't help my-NECON-self."

The sun rises and sets in Shrubs ass as far as that drone is concerned. Any links or good information on this "relief package" would be greatly appreciated.

1. just compare this pittance to the hundreds of thousands the upper class
get every year in their taxes rollbacks, while they pay little or no income tax compared to the rest of us.

2. How tax rebates work in stimulus package

Unlike the 2001 rebates, which went only to people who paid tax, the 2008 rebates will go to many people who don't file tax returns.

The IRS says it will work with the Social Security Administration and Department of Veterans Affairs to make sure all eligible individuals know how to get a rebate.

Tax advisers are encouraging people who had more than $3,000 in income from a job or self-employment in 2007 to file a tax return even if they don't owe tax so the IRS knows how to find them.

3. I knew this shit was not free...
"The rebates represent a 2008 tax cut. But instead of getting the tax cut next year, when you file your 2008 return, you'll get it this year."

4. Exactly!! You'll see less in your tax rebate in 2009 but
this could help out the poor, who have at last taken in $3000.00 in unearned income

Like people on disability, Disabled Vets, etc. I did read an really good tax article

the other day, on how poor people can 'tweak' their tax returns and qualify for a check.

It said that even if you had ZERO INCOME, that you should file a return because you still

might qualify for a check! I'm still trying to find it... I was going to post it but got side tracked. :(
