I happened across Larry's website and I highly recommend that you check it out. He's running for the US Senate from Texas on a platform of having Texas secede from the US and then enacting "biblical law" in the new nation. Here's his 4 step plan for Texas' independence:

How can Texas Independence be achieved?

1. Elect Larry Kilgore - This will be an indication to the governor that the people of Texas want Independence.

2. At this point, the governor should call the Texas Legislature into special session. And they will have to determine how to lead the people of Texas without the constraints imposed upon them by the US Empire.

3. The Texas Legislature will appoint ambassadors to the US Empire to negotiate a peaceful separation.

4. Once Texas is recognized by the US an independent nation, all US Senators and US Representatives from Texas will be relieved of duty.


Sounds simple enough. I'm sure negotiating that "peaceful separation" will go off without a hitch!

His website poses the question, "Larry Kilgore wants to enact Biblical Law. Why would I vote for him?" The answer to this question: "The Left and the Right can work together to remove the bondage of the US Empire from the Texas. Besides Kilgore loses his US Senate seat as soon as Texas gets independence."

I mean, the only thing Texas gives us are idiotic politicians like Bush and Kilgore himself, and people who can't drive in snow... or for that matter, rain. :)
