local parties took up the cause instead. And no, it's not illegal now, hence the need for legislation. I know you've heard otherwise, which is why I've confronted someone with whom I was previously affiliated.
The solution is bi-partisan and sound ... let elected officials be responsible. But no, challenging is legal- remember Renquist? Bennett was upset that there would be penalties for those who tried what he got away with.
