12. My Scooby cuddles with me the same way.
weird cat, total attention whore. If I let him get as close as he wants, he would probably suffocate me in my sleep!

18. My cat also
cuddles me the same way. He puts his paws around my neck and hugs and kisses me (and gently bites my nose). But he is so little (by comparison). Even so, it sometimes overwhelms me.

25. the dog in my sig line, Tippy, would do that to me. He would
climb up in my lap, put his arms around me and press his face against my cheek. then, when I gave him enough belly noogies, he would turn and glance at the other four and grin. Nanny-nanny-boo-boo!
i love animals.

Is that a reference I should know - Danielle to lions? I don't know. It is a beautiful name, though.

23. Thanks for posting this! I swear critters KNOW when someone rescues them.
I had a dog like that- she KNEW and
would not let me out of her sight for eight
wonderful years.
She had been abused- I found her running away
from some devil in the middle of the night with
a broken leg...

Best dog I ever had.

24. Animals never
seem to forget the ones who really love them. People - they get busy, hold grudges, find others, move on... But animals, they forever remember and stay hopelessly devoted to that one special person who loves them. At least, that is the way it has been with my animals over the years.

30. I just love this video and you're right, rescues are amazing.....
I think back frequently to my most recent rescue (2 dogs, both rescued) -- the first day I bought him home the little guy was TERRIFIED! He'd been abandoned and no doubt abused (based on his extreme fear of people and other reactions). Poor guy finally had a person he could trust and attach to (his foster mom) and he gets torn away from her to a new place and person he didn't know if he could trust. Now he's the BEST cuddler in the world, he's getting to the point where he can trust strangers (still working on it), and he's endlessly wonderful and loyal. I always get a picture of that first day when he wouldn't come near me after I brought him home and he now LEAPS in my lap for a snuggle. Rescue is the only way I'll ever go!

28. Here's another great one
About two men who had raised a lion cub, then set it free. They went back to Africa a year later to check on him, and here's how he reacted:

Keep in mind that the second lion did not know them - he just accepted them based on the first lion's reaction.

29. Now ain't that something
I sorta have a weak stomach so I was quick to stop the video and move on the first time but for some reason this morning I had to see for myself if I could watch it any further than the first few frames where he was giving the dude what looks like a kiss. It was just what I wanted to see and needed to see this morning. as the old saying goes, this will warm the cockles of your heart, was the first thing I thought.

Peace and have a great day.

What a great word. I'm glad you were inspired to go back and view the video this morning.

And so happy to have helped to warm those cockles of your heart. :)
