Why are feet not toasting over healthcare? |
|
The infrastructure is in place, via taxation system.
Canada UK France Australia New Zealand Cuba and many other countries all have it, and have neither seen a collapse of society nor an increase in welfare recipients.
Why the hell are you allowing prospective leaders to skip around and elude scrutiny on this? It is not an earth shattering event. It has been proven that when in place, neither side of politics will dismantle it.
Why the hell are you even entertaining discussions about mandatory insurance?

1. Because the U.S. Government is controlled by the |

corporate lobbyists for the insurance companies.
What we need to flip the system away from the lobbyists is a Dem majority in the House, and at least 60 Dem Senators to blow away any repuke filibustering, and then someone like Obama could make the leap away from the present rip-off system.

Hillary's proposal is very similar to the system used in France, Germany and Australia (which all use a mandated private insurance system). I'm not sure I see the problem.
