Quantum's Jim Rogers says US 'out of control'
Leo Lewis, Asia Business Correspondent

Jim Rogers - who co-founded the now closed Quantum Fund with George Soros - told 750 global fund managers in Tokyo today that, America is “completely out of control”, there will be a 20-year bull market in commodities and that prices will be in turmoil. And he also warned that it “made sense” if global competition for resources ended in armed conflict.

Mr Rogers told delegates to the CLSA investment forum that the prices of all agricultural products would “explode” in coming years and that the price of gold, which hit an all-time high of $964 an ounce yesterday, will continue its surge to as much as $3,500 an ounce. Gold would continue to rise, the analyst Christopher Wood told fund managers, “because it is the exact opposite of a structured finance product”.

In a blistering attack on US monetary policy and the “helicopter cash drop” responses of the Federal Reserve, Mr Rogers described the American dollar as a “terribly flawed currency”.

He said that the plan by Ben Bernanke, the Fed Chairman, to “crank up the money-printing machines and run them until we run out of trees” had exposed America’s weakest point to her rivals and enemies.

1. A system that is designed for catastrophe.
For a concise introduction to the scam behind modern banking and the fractional reserve, debt based monetary systems prevalent today, watch the video doucmentary Money as Debt. Also available for viewing on Google Video here:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-9050474362583451279

From the producer Paul Grignon:

Money created as interest-bearing bank credit is a magic trick, a fraud - now 3 centuries old; one that very few people have seen through despite, or rather because of, its utter simplicity.

It is my intention to make this mysterious debt-money system comprehensible to everyone. It is also my intention to foster sufficient understanding of the problems with this money system that citizens will be motivated to join the monetary reform movement and/or create local alternatives to the global monetary system - a system in which most of the productive people of the world are collectively chained to an ever-increasing and perpetually unpayable debt.

This is a system designed for elite control of the people by those who have given themselves the privilege of creating money. It is also, I believe, a system that is designed for catastrophe. As the movie explains, there can be no sustainable civilization without a sustainable money system

2. If it is to transparent
the American news media will never see it- or choose to. It seems crudely obvious that the entire sum of Bernanke's policy is to prop the stock market- and that alone- until election day 2008. Certainly this happens every significant election year, but as with all spectacular Bush politicizations, this has passed so far beyond the borders of plain treason and inexplicable madness that the media were it so inclined could never catch up. Instead it saves its breath mesmerizing the public that we are not in a recession yet, that occasional upticks caused by Fed money dumps are the stable panaceas, that GOP election strategies(as with the phony Iraq surge/unsurge) are legitimate pluses, that everything is fundamentally sound, that Bush led institutions are doing their jobs at all.

3. YES HE CERTAINLY IS

Yes he certainly is a well manipulated puppet of big business. His stance on war and defense spending can only be out done by his demand to restore corporate welfare in the energy bill for big oil.I for one think we no longer can claim we have a free press more like we have a media controlled by big business.
One example is the republicans have claimed that Hillary was beatable by Guiliani and only him.Rudy who? the press has been anything but fair to her and the reason the republicans do not have a candidate that can defeat her.
Surprise surprise we democrats will vote for mickey mouse if its our only choice in november to beat the rights candidate.
So all your dirty trick bag is useless there will be a democrat elected president in nov.
and pitsfield maine is documented the day before president kennedy's death with photo
and plane ticket from bangor to texas. targert pratice behind the construction field office.
shooter's talking -we need a place to sight my rifle in,we're going to texas tommorrow to hunt the biggest game on earth. question how are you getting there ?WE HAVE A LAYOVER IN BANGOR LEAVING IN 2 HOURS.
WITNESSES STILL ALIVE AT LEAST 10!
