GOP = Grouchy Old Papaws
A couple years ago my husband could not rescue two of his workers and they died in front of him.

He was depressed and took Ambien for almost a year, had a major personality change.
Our grandson took to half-teasingly calling him "grouchy old Papaw"

This morning that 10 yr. old ask me for the definition of the initials DNC and GOP, he ask if GOP was for "grouchy old Papaws" and I laughed but said "yeah, yeah it is"
