Just curious.

We dropped just a little last week - wne from about $3.03 down to 2.94. And has jumped again.

This is so depressing. I have to drive a lot and have really been trying not to raise my prices. But I will have to pretty soon if this keeps up.

14. STL-other side of state
2/28/08 ranged from $2.85 to $2.96 depending where you go to get your tank filled. 2/24/08 when I HAD to fill wifes car, it was $2.99.
Whats happening here is a slow drop throughout the week, beginning Mondays-Wednesdays, then slight increases on Thursdays. I have found that is the slight increase DOES NOT happend on a Thursday - BOOM!! big jump on Friday, like what happened 2/22/08

Some price wars going on I think. $2.99 gas when the other grades are way more expensive, and stuff like that.

26. Hopping up like a frog
In the NW Chicago burbs, it has gone up from the $2.99 range to $3.19 at some stations. You could still find some stations at 3.08/3.10 at 6 am this morning, but that will probably be gone by this afternoon. One station this morning was already at 3.23.

I am getting very worried about this, what will happen when we have to start using the summer blends? I have a long commute, and unless I can find another job, I am screwed.
