5. I doubt it. The DLC was still running the party |
|
and they never would have allowed an outsider to do an end run around them and gain office.
They fully expected to be able to neutralize him in the position of DNC chair. They were wrong and the party is better off because of it.
However, Kerry might have won if Stupid had gotten us into the Iraq disaster on some pretext, and he would have. He campaigned on it. Without the outpouring of jingoism and the kind of frustration that demanded action from some he man leader, he'd have been hard pressed to justify any of it after the WMDs failed to materialize.
He'd have been a goner.

10. True. But the party would have not been so cautious. |
|
Anyways, I like to think it.

2. There would have been a 10/11 or 11/11. |

Or a more sustained anthrax campaign.

6. They would not have had a reason to remove our democracy |
|
and move the boxes around to destroy Civil Service. They would not have had a reason to rob our tresury for "Homeland Security". FEMA would not exist and NO might have had less damage and death. ETC...we would have been better off and so would the ME and Afghanistan.

11. a dem would have won. doesn't matter who or which one. |
|
my life and yours would have been easier, happier, and far better
the lives of people around the world would have been untouched by the outstretched evil arms of the gop, thereby making their lives easier, happier and far better
the world would certainly be a different place.

12. If 9-11 had never happened they would have found reason to attack |
|
Iraq anyway. 9-11 just made their sales pitch easier.
