Follow the Oil Money for US Congress
This is an interesting map of the political campaign contributions from companies in the oil & gas industries to politicians who are candidates for the US federal office. The tool allows users to not only see the oil contribution network for the Congress & 2008 Presidential Race, but also from 2000 and 2004.

1. should have known our own Dan Boren is second on the list
what a scum bag. I guess that is why I never got a reply several months ago when I inquired about his relationship with the oil industry.

2. Very cool graph.
I'm sad to see blue up there, but at least there's a lot less of it than red.

5. check out the oil money for candidates -- BOTH Obama and Clinton
BOTH of them in the triple digits?

Oh yeah -- they have all the reason in the WORLD to smack down the oil companies -- with that 267K package for Hillary and that 128K for Obama.

YEAH -- those candidates for CHANGE sure keep coming up looking like same old shit, different page. :sarcasm:
