No really, $3.04/gallon at my local Kroger supermarket here in N. Mississippi. This is with the .03/gallon discount with the Kroger Plus shopper's card. Same price at the Murphy Oil pumps (Wal-Mart, which I try not to patronize) .03/gallon discount with a Wally-Mart reloadable gift card.

And I spend about $30 every two weeks.


edit: I do belong to Costco, but it's been over a year since buying their gas was a bargain. Every time I check, there's only about a nickel's worth of difference in the price.

it was $3.02 on the 24th, $2.82 back at the beginning of Feb. through about the 20th - went up .10 in one day then a penny or two a day since. All the same store.

edit to add: looks like Jan it was holding at 2.88 - if ya want to know what it was all last year I've been doing taxes and have all my receipts handy! :P

if I cross the river into NJ, it's $2.95/gal, though I suspect when I fill up tomorrow it's not going to be that low. I paid $2.89 in the Toms River, NJ area on Saturday.
