Defense of Democracies running ad in MO

Maybe you all have already seen it, there is a new ad running here in Missouri by the Defense of Democracies, urging voters call their representatives and pass the surveillance bill.

It states,in part, "The house went on vacation leaving new surveillance crippled...Tell the house to do its job and pass the terror surveillance bill"

It shows Bin Laden and portrays the House Democrats as leaving the country wide open to terrorism.


It has a phone number to call and I urge all Missourians to call and tell them NO IMMUNITY!

I also urge to read Will Pitts journal Fisa 101.

2. Defense of Democracies is no friend of democracies.

Anymore than the Heritage Foundation is about saving traditional family values. They are both crooked organizations from the ground up. About supporting PNAC and pushing 'compassionate conservatism'. We all know what that is code for.

5. I can tell by the way the ad ran!

I just called Ike Skeltons office and left my opinion, told them NO IMMUNITY, that I know FISA is in fact enacted that I want the Dems to have a backbone. This is the first time they have stood up, I also told them that I believe the reason there are such high turnouts for the Dems is the ones in office have not done anything and this is the first time they are. I told them I want them to continue to stand up! She then took my name and address. I am shaking I am so mad at this commercial!

But there's also the The Foundation for the Defense of Democracies (http://www.defenddemocracy.org), who sport a bio page (http://www.defenddemocracy.org/biographies/biographies.htm) that is a Who's Who of failed neoconservative fascism and extremist Christianity. Perle, Kristol, Gary Bauer, Benedict Zell Miller, and so on.

Need to do some digging and see if one is a 527 of the other.
