Saw a great bumper sticker today.
It reads:

The last time we mixed religion and politics, we were burning people at the stake.

We looked back at those people as pretty ignorant. I hope we look at today's holier-than-thou church/state collaborators as the same.

It was all over a land dispute.

Much like the alleged heretics is the days of old.

The inquisitors allegedly never said they were wrong. They only said they were putting their beliefs to the test of fire.

That's fairly interesting reincarnationally really.
