Our leader ... Brilliant!
"It should be obvious to all, demand has outstripped supply, which makes prices go up." GWB

"We gotta get off oil, American has got to change its habits," Bush told a crowd at the Washington International Renewable Energy Conference, a meeting of global energy officials and an adjoining trade show that's the largest all-renewables show ever held in the United States.

"It's like Jamie Lynne Spears giving a talk on abstinence," said Daniel Weiss, director of climate strategy at the Center for American Progress, a liberal think tank referring to a teenaged TV star who recently disclosed she was pregnant.

2. Our leader, is not known for subtlety.

So, is our dear leader prepared to fully fund electric cars, grid enhancements, battery technology, etc?

Or is he just forcing us into another cartel's arms? We need to stop consuming fuel. Not just oil.

Efficiency is key. Reduce the waste, reduce the pollution, increase the mileage and we're a long way there. Next step, batteries that let you drive 50 miles on a charge. With the average commute of the average citizen, oil consumption would drop dramatically.

7. Again, Bush caught in an out-right lie. Gasoline supply at 15 year high.
Although gas prices have risen sharply in recent days in response to oil's dramatic climb to a record above $101 a barrel, gasoline supplies have quietly grown to their highest level in 14 years.
