Time out from the OB - HC Rat Race folks......It was benign.
I just thought that you should stop and think for a few seconds before ripping that new a-hole to the person who bad-mouthed your candidate. I am trying to do this with limited success but I am trying. There are fine people here on DU who kindly offered prayer and kind words for my son as he went through brain surgery a few weeks ago. Some of them don't see eye to eye with me on who should be our President. That doesn't make them any less of a fine human being. There are many things more important in life. We experienced that in the past few months. Their support helped Rob and myself overcome a very tough time in our lives. I thank you all.

Rob's brain tumor is benign. No Radiation, no Chemo and maybe we hope, a life free of seizures.

Take it easier on your fellow DUers folks. Keep your eyes on what really matters...friends, family and defeating John McCain later in the year.

9. The BO/HC race pales in comparison
The BO/HC race will be done in a few months. Phht.

Your son will hopefully live another 90 or so years, in good health.

Best wishes.

12. Having lost my wife to brain cancer five years ago
I must say that I am overjoyed to hear your good news. Best to your son also.
As to your other comments, I heartily agree, but this part of the campaign seems to bring out a lot of craziness amongst our fellow DU'ers. Here is hoping that a return to normalcy occurs after the Primaries are history.

I have a small window as to what you must of gone through and I hope you have started to put your life together again. We went into this with the same fears and unknowns that you did but fortunately our outcome was better. I know only part of your nightmare. Thanks for the kind words. Coming from you they mean even more.
