Bush, McCain dine on hot dogs in White House lunch

1 hour, 2 minutes ago

WEST PALM BEACH, Florida (Reuters) - President George W. Bush may have given presumptive Republican presidential nominee John McCain the royal treatment at the White House on Wednesday, but the two men did not exactly have a meal fit for a king.

McCain, an Arizona senator, picked up the president's endorsement for his candidacy while dining on something simple: a hot dog.

"He said he was having a hot dog, so I had a hot dog," McCain, referring to Bush, told reporters on his campaign plane during a flight to Florida.

So does a hot dog taste any different when it's prepared in the White House?

"It tasted pretty much the same to me," McCain said.

26. As a Non Reader, Bush is stuck in HighSchool or , as you suggested, elementary.
We often see this in Bars and Lounges...most of the discourse is generic and covers old jokes, stories, etc..everyone needs a soapbox..some more than others...many wale on about themselves ad anuseum.....

Its so obvious Bush has never left that Bar....his whole ife revolves around the rubbing bald heads and stale jokes barely/semi remembered

13. Well, two things:
1. I wonder if either had ketchup on the hot dog. There's a right way and a wrong way to eat ketchup on a hot dog. The right way is to be under the age of twelve.

2. Don't knock tater tots. I won't say it twice.

30. I respectfully disagree.
I'm 44 and I like a little bit of hot dog with my ketchup. But I don't have them very often, and if I had a personal chef at my disposal, ready to prepare the finest cuisine, I sure wouldn't waste that on a hot dog.

34. The extra sugar in the ketchup makes the hot dog worse.
Try chopped vine-ripened tomatoes instead -- you'll notice the improvement.

Bushie does a little Bo Jangles, so mebbe he figures he can afford the nitrates and empty calories of cow lips and udders.

Does anyone know--other that complete lack of respect, which is probably the only area where McCain and I agree--why Senator Anger Management was late in the first place?

28. GEORGE BUSH ATE A GODDAMNED HOT DOG FOR LUNCH.
My utmost respect and appreciation for Kadie.

But Yahoo news (Kadie's point, I imagine) sees fit to report this. Breaking. One hour ago. Details here. Maybe a pic or twelve somewhere else. This is disgusting on every level. Jesus.

"So does a hot dog taste any different when it's prepared in the White House?"

Who the fucking sweet hell gives a good goddamn rat's pustule-covered ass if a hot dog tastes any freaking different when prepared in the White House?!? What the fucking hell else is going on in the world, and does it deserve the bandwith of some degenerate crackhead's reporting of chickenshit non-stories like this one? Who pays this asshole to come up with questions like this?

My sympathies go out to the chef who has to deal with this juvenile crap on a daily basis.
