1. I have no problem with the RIGHT women ruling the world. |
|
But I'll stop there, lest your post get locked down because it should be in GDP :)

2. I like the title. :) Gets people thinking, even if it's equal representation that's desirable. |

I have NO interest what so-ever in Dee Dee Myers. I wish she'd go away or get lost. She is already lost and trying out for a new job with the Hillary administration in my estimation.

You should read it rather than dismiss it because you don't want women to be in charge.

20. Are you afraid of women running the world? |
|
Men have had the run of the world for centuries now. Everything from government to religion to war-mongering have been at the discretion of men.
Besides, you're making an assumption based on a title without reading the book.

It's very good. Has a lot of research and it's not a man-bashing book like some tend to believe.

6. Dee Dee is an attractive woman |
|
too bad she's married. And women already rule the world.
Men compete, Women choose...
Men's skill sets are crappy for coping with the modern era, so women should make more political decisions.

They still make less money, have less power and still deal with a host of other inequalities.

18. Maybe you should read her book then... |
|
check out the studies she shows that prove how women continue to be discriminated against.
It wasn't until the early 90s that women were included in clinical trials at the National Institute of Health. Before that, everything we knew about the human body was based on the study of men. Women were not included in medical studies. Thanks to Dr. Bernadine Healy it changed when she took over in 1991.
That's not to mention women still make less money, have less power and so on. In my family women do call the shots, but when it comes to society...women are still treated like second class citizens.

just as men are discriminated in others (very few, I realize, but still some.
That doesn't mean women should rule anything.

|
Geez. :wtf:
Please, how are poor men discriminated against. ROFL. They want to have babies, but can't?
Women have just as much right to rule as the men have for all these past centuries. They've fucked the world up enough. I say scoot over. It's our turn.

26. Men compete, women choose. |
|
Men are the way they are because of the biological choices made in the eons past by women. Although there have been many instances of males dominating females especially in the context of sexual control. The biological history of humanity in no one abrogates men of the responsibility for evil behavior since humans possess self-awareness.
Less power? The majority of college students and graduates (now) in the fields of law and medicine are women. And soon the same will hold true in politics, while men with their aggressive nature will be relegated to physical fields of endeavor.
Anyway women should rule politically

12. from what i've witnessed, not sure if women would do a better job. |
|
maybe the results will be better when women in charge can lead without feeling like the need to be as 'tough' as their male counterparts.

16. Rather than Women, why not just people, |
|
Of either sex, any race, religion, sexuality, ethnicity, whatever. Just plain people. And rather than "rule the world" how about just simply sharing it, wisely, equitably, and justly.
Sorry, but I think that this is just more divisive bullshit, once again playing one sex off against another.

27. The book is about empowering women... |
|
and them becoming a stronger force in the world for real change to benefit everyone. She's not saying that women are better than men...just different. She shows how they are different, how they continue to get discriminated against and how they can help make the world a better place.
