3. Yes, the most viable Dem.
Here's the Dem underdog (he got my vote--not thrilled with him, but he's more progressive than Gill).

And there are about five Republicans running, all fighting over who has the most conservative credentials.

4. 'firm believer in states' rights?'
Sounds more like an old-school Dixiecrat than a Democrat. But then...I shouldn't be surprised, I suppose, considering that it's Mississippi (I have family in Meridian, Hattiesburg and Gulfport, and a bastion of progressivism it ain't).

5. Ugh, a flat-taxer, too
You have my sympathies. Mine's a Dem, but being a west Texas Dem, pretty much of a non-entity. Mostly harmless, in other words.

9. Not too smart with his campaign funds, either
Those little 1" X 1" pics on his page? Those are whopping half-meg pics. He hasn't resized them, instead letting your browser squash them to fit. Every page view is using up to 100 times more bandwidth than necessary.

This is what he's actually serving to make one of those stamp-sized pics. Look out, this is going to blow apart the formatting in this thread!:

On Edit: On second thought, what I was doing is just mean. Click the link below to see the 2048 X 1536, 600K pic:

12. After reading that blurb...
I can readily understand his problems with having brains sucked out of heads, being a victim and all.

5 will get you 10 that he's running as a Dem because he was too frothing for the Mississippi repukes. If that is even possible.

14. My sympathies
and please keep him in Mississippi if it all possible

In fact, just go ahead and confine him to his house.

Please?

15. He sounds like my congressman.
Daniel W. Lipinski of the 3rd IL. He's another pro-lifer but he has juvenile diabetes and doesn't support stem-cell research. Talk about an asshole. Lipinski should be pictured in Webster's Dictionary next to the word.
