I accidentally clicked on GD : Primaries, and my laptop's temperature went to 160 degrees
from 109 degrees. Had to shut it down to cool it off. Who knows what would have happened if I had actually read some of the posts.

1. That's pretty good, I rarely get a 51 degree rise even

11. I still have my ole' Neil Young and C,S,N, & Y record albums.
Still play them and think about those days and the days as a US Army draftee making $115.00 a month. Still think about being stationed in Washington, DC during the April/May 1971 demonstrations against the war and spending the weekend demonstrating. It's a good thing I didn't get into trouble and arrested like some of my friends on Monday morning. Luckily, the Army never found out about my little treasonous escapade that weekend.

Check out that weekend. I think there were 300,000 people there. It was the last great demonstration against the war.

12. Like you I treasure the days when Y was still part of CSNY
and I attended many demonstrations from 68 through late 71...part of that time being in the USAF and later part working for a company beholding to the Republican party. It was a job I was offered, accepted, and did very well - and which made me a good friend with a kid who is now a US Senator.

15. "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere"
Neil Young and Crazy Horse. With no money and only a couple of joints and a six-pack, I would get fucked-up listening to that album, along with The Moody Blues, Allman Brothers, The Doors, and a few others. Back in the day when life was so simple in some ways and so fucked-up in other ways.

7. I understand...
That the makers of the finest high-end fan/heatsinks, like Coolermaster, Thermalright, Noctua and others use GD: Phools to test new overclocking heatsink designs. Rumor is that some of the big PC makers like Dell also use it to burn in new machines.

13. Best favor I ever did myself was taking GD-P off my Latest Page.
I peeked in over there, and only three threads were authored by anybody I've ever heard of, and I've been here for years.
