47. "I hated the gooks. I will hate them as long as I live."
Which in McCain's bizarro world must mean that deep down he truly respects them.
Certainly, his captors must have been proficient in the use of "exquisite torture".

What a dumb ass.

5. PUH-LEESE
These polls are scams to bolster TPTB. They are UNSCIENTIFIC, buggy and designed to "prove" the POV of the media outlet that posts them.

Anyway you're right...people who vote in these things are unlikely to be in a position to influence policy anyway (including me for sure) ;-)

18. True - usually. But my newspaper relies heavily on them.

The Arizona Republic(an) actually quotes these polls in many of their articles and many of their columns. So they actually do matter here.

that U.S. troops will be tortured if captured?"

take water for granted. Anyone with half a brain living in the desert figures out pretty damn quick how important water is.

Just sayin'.

feed their propaganda machines. Chances are that the tortured will tell the interrogator exactly what he wants to hear. If it were me being tortured, I would!!!

I am sure it would be a big economic boost (somehow) if McCain gets elected...a big deal for Arizona anyhow.

AFAIC, I can't imagine anything worse than McCain winning. Ugh. The man totally creeps me out...and that's in addition to all the crap he's pulled on the Navajo/Hopi here.

Can you say batshit crazy with a bad temper to boot?? Meet John McC *shudder*
