In recent months, Pope Benedict has made several strong appeals for the protection of the environment, saying issues such as climate change had become gravely important for the entire human race.

1. Well that should just scare the poop out of Southern Company.
Big coal fired power plant operator in the southeast.
Alabama Power, Georgia Power, etc.

2. It is easy for them to ignore the Church, but what about the Southern Baptist Convention?
