OMG. OMG OMG.

2:15 presser apparently. He's been huddled with his advisors all day. MSNBC's Savannah Guthrie just announced this.

Wow!

10. Oh, I know you're not a troll
There's another thread on this posted in LBN from the DU administrator. I just can't believe the guy who cried the loudest about ethics and reform would be involved in something this overtly illegal. Why would he do this?

12. Yeah for sure:(
Thanks. It's just like a hollywood movie. The brilliant rising anti-corruption superstar is just as corrupt as the people he prosecutes.

Why would he do this to his wife and 3 children?

8. here's link

ALBANY - Gov. Eliot Spitzer has informed his most senior administration officials that he had been involved in a prostitution ring, an administration official said this morning.

Mr. Spitzer, who was huddled with his top aides early this afternoon, had hours earlier abruptly canceled his scheduled public events for the day. He is set to make an announcement about 2:15 this afternoon at his Manhattan office.

Mr. Spitzer, a first-term Democrat who pledged to bring ethics reform and end the often seamy ways of Albany, is married with three children.

Just last week, federal prosecutors arrested four people in connection with an expensive prostitution operation. Administration officials would not say that this was the ring with which the governor had become involved.

Spitzer has been walking an ethical tightrope ever since he became Governor. It appears he may have finally fallen off of the wire.

27. He'd better resign as quickly as possible.
Damn.

I was so excited when he was elected governor -- I voted for him. He was going to clean up the place!

Unfortunately he turned out to be surprisingly tone deaf and has been making misstep after misstep.

But this!!! This takes the cake!!!

I didn't think anything could shock me anymore!

I can't get the straight of what is happening.

They had a live feed for a few minutes, and then stated the Gov Spitzer would not resign.

Then reported that CBS news having him resigning.

Then stated that he might take time off and then resign.

????
:wtf:

30. Involved - as in he's a big time pimp, or involved - as in
he uses prostitutes.

Either way, you do all realize that if he's a Republican it's perfectly acceptable and if he's a Dem it's the crime of the century??
