The police abuse outrage of the day: Fresno SWAT trashes a home
Still searchin' for Officer Friendly...

In the spirit of keeping DUers informed about the activities of those we pay to "serve and protect," here's one example of how the Fresno SWAT team spends its time. They totally trashed a house they were searching. The suspect wasn't there, the family claims to have no connection to him, but now their home is ruined, and the Fresno cops are playing dumb.

Accusations of excessive force by Fresno County deputies

A family living on Big Sandy Rancheria near Auberry is left picking up the pieces of their home on Wednesday after the Fresno County Sheriffs SWAT team served a search warrant.

Monica Marquez and Tamara Riley say that deputies entered the home looking for Kenneth Wilson a suspect in a homicide that happened near Auberry on February 19th of 2008. Riley and Marquez say that they have no connection to Kenneth Wilson and that deputies used excessive force in serving the warrant.

Fresno County Sheriff's Deputy Chris Curtice told KSEE 24 News that there was a warrant served at this specific address, but that he is not aware of any damages or claims of damages.

1. Well, I guess these women should consider themselves fortunate.
At least they didn't get their vaginas inspected, like this poor woman in Albany:

2. Did they threaten them about talking to the press?
They always do that to, as well as being unaware of damages.
