Was Spitzer using prostitutes or acting as a pimp? |
Good morning/afternoon DU. I'm trying to figure out the problem here. Was he running a ring of prostitutes or paying one for sex personally? Thanks.

3. gotta admit, a politician who does the wild thing all day for lobbyists, would |
probably be relieved to have a change in roles in the evening.

I get tired of "oooo, sex" stuff. I feel whatever someone wants to do is fine, so long as all parties are of legal age, and it is consensual. That said, I also think people who knowingly break the law know they might get caught. That said, I think a lot of laws should be changed.

2. Don't ask me. I have never figured out what a "prostitution ring" is. |
Except for a bunch of men going to the same prostitutes. Why the need to give it a special category that makes it sound like a cool club with decoder rings and secret passwords and all is beyond me.

5. I think it's a quirk of the criminal justice system |
that makes conspiring to commit crimes a larger crime than the crime itself.

10. I haven't either. Maybe it's to differentiate between men getting |
women from a service and those picking prostitutes up off the street.

12. Aside from being illegal, which I don't think it should be, so? I really don't get this. |
Maybe they need to legalize and monitor prostitution.
