"SELLING is legal. FUCKING is legal. So, why isn't selling fucking legal?"
Discuss.

1. It should be.. But when you are a prosecutor who has gone |

after Prostitution rings in the past, well, it might have been just a bit hypocritical to get caught using one. Not to mention completely and utterly stupid.

5. Fucking isn't always legal |

even between two consenting adults. Sex toys are illegal in some states, sodomy in others. Hell, I probably fucked illegally this weekend, and I'm married.

8. You aren't generally allowed to break laws just because you think they're dumb. |

That goes double for those who built a career on enforcing those particular laws.

Not too many people are faced with the possibility of impeachment for jaywalking; nor are there many people of whom it could be said 'broke the public trust' by jaywalking.

11. So, is he being CHARGED for breaking said laws? |
|
Technically, the hooker and her pimp/madame are the ones breaking the laws.
Are there any chances Spitzer will be charged with any crimes at all?
Of course not.
Just the association with a crime is enough to get him kicked out, apparently.

12. Uh, wrong. He transported a hooker across state lines. |
|
It will be very difficult for them to *not* prosecute.
The appearance of impropriety should, hell, for my money it *is* unacceptable in elected officials.
Haven't you had enough of corruption?
