Who else could give a rat's ass about the sex lives of these guys? So they have to pay to get boinked! Okay, it might be a little barf-worthy...but .. The REAL scandals are the ones of the rape and pillaging of the AMERICAN PEOPLE! The IRAQ WAR SCANDAL, THE KATRINA SCANDAL, THE OBSCENE PROFITS OF FAT CAT CORPORATE AMERCA while poverty rises everywhere!! THE GREED! THE WE DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU HEALTHCARE SYSTEM! AND THE LIST GOES ON AND ON AND IT IS NEVERENDING!!!

it all. Why is it okay for him to prosecute prostitution and then, when he helps himself to it, have us look the other way? Why is that? Screw the sex. Pun intended.

5. As I would (and have) said when it was a Republican it's not the sex, it's the hypocrisy.

If Spitzer had just been some Senator or Congressman who had never shown much inclination to denounce or legislate against vice I'd be supporting him.

But he was a prosecutor who vigorously went after this kind of behavior.

He's worthless to us now. It's a shame because he was one of the only Democrats who really was willing to go after the big money.

on this mess..... Why don't politicians realize that nothing they do can stay hidden?

They need someone to remind them about twice a day that they don't have the freedom to "sin" that everybody else does. Politics has a lot of percs, but a big downside is the lack of personal privacy.

I've attended several political "housewarmings" (campaign events) and have been overwhelmed with the pheromones in the air. It's really been unbelievable to me. Posturing, seduction, intrusion of personal space, aromas, food and alcohol, conversation ... far, far more intense than any "meat market" bar I've ever been in.
