Snopes.com has picked up on the story about Neal Boortz mocking a disabled chid

Last Friday morning, Neal Boortz mocked and ridiculed a nine-year-old boy with a pretty severe learning disability. Boortz got an audio tape of the child when reporters recorded his response to a piece of green ice that fell (probably from a passing airplane) through the roof of his family's tire shop in Lula, Georgia. Neal found the boy's speech impediment and Southern accent so funny, he just had to replay the tape over and over, saying the boy sounded "as dumb as a stump," accusing his father of child abuse based solely on the boy's speech patterns, and joking that the boy would wind up "changing tires" or "selling worms."

All it takes is one, though. Journalists are pack animals.

Some video of the boy with the audio of Boortz playing would make a poignant, compelling story.

Anybody know how to get through to Olbermann? Neal should be the Worst Person in the World, hands down.

I'm astonished. I have to say that if I were face-to-face with someone picking on ANY nine-year-old, that that person is in major trouble and fair amount personal peril.
