Bush sending Cheney to the Middle East
next week. Get that duct tape and DUCK

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/7288438.stm
<snip>
US President George W Bush says he is sending Vice-President Dick Cheney to the Middle East next week.

Mr Bush said one of the reasons for the visit was to impress upon the Israelis and Palestinians the need to keep firm promises made on the peace process.

"His goal is to reassure people the US is committed to a vision of peace in the Middle East," Mr Bush said.

Mr Cheney's trip, which begins on Sunday, will take in Israel, the West Bank, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

6. the retarded chimp is over his head; incapable of handling his job
that's probably why he always sidesteps diplomacy in favor of sabre-rattling... he doesn't have the intecllectual heft or imagination to discuss and resolve issues like a "grown-up". Why Cheney, though? Isn't that Condi's job, if not the Chimp's?

9. Pelosi did not go as GW B*sh'representative
and that is the difference.B*sh has exposed himself, again, as the ventriliquists dummy on the international stage. If he could, he should but he can't, so he sends his subordinate for this delicate and critical foreign polidy conference that will be his presidential legacy. It IS news becasue it's being marketed as Cheney commandeering the peace process. As far as sounding stupid, please speak for yourself.
