How does the Mann Act work in the District of Columbia? |
|
Are the boundaries of the District of Columbia "state lines"?
If a politician in DC hires a hooker from Maryland or Virginia, is that a Mann Act offense?
Clearly, if a politician in Bethesda hires an Arlington hooker, he's in big trouble (or vice versa).
Maybe DC is considered part of Maryland? Or maybe it is a "free trade" zone?
Wasn't there a case where politicians took hookers out on a yacht in the Potomac?
Better be sure your GPS is working!

1. I hadn't heard the Mann Act referenced since I was a kid |

in the 1950s. If he gets nailed on that it is a major comment on the politization of justice. Sounds mostly like he is a sleaze and a hypocrite and an idiot. If those were crimes we'd have few politicians.

4. Unless you think the FBI has no power in DC - your point is dead. Of course it counts. |
