get 3000+ of your own countrymen killed in an illegal war, plunge your country a trillion or more dollars into debt, set back basic human rights and free speech a century or more, defame your countries name world wide and get away with it (not to say anything of the 20 some odd percent who still call you a hero). Yet get caught with your pants down fucking or being fucked and everyone right left and centre calls you a hypocrite and you might as well kiss your professional carrier good bye. Doesn't matter if you did a lot of good before hand, your reputation is forever tarnished. What's the lesson for our kids? It's better to lie, steal, kill and stay abstinent than to ever even think of doing good and god for bid having sex!

I'm Canadian by the way so by America I guess I mean North America because this kind of shameful thinking happens here too, just not quite as much.
