Question re: B*sh, another attack and the General Election.
I've been trying to find the answer to this question:

If there's another attack on the U.S. before 1.20.09, can the Idiot-In-Chief prevent the GE, or if it's after the GE, can he prevent the incoming prez from taking office?

There's still slightly more than 300 days that we have to deal with this asshole, and after that song :puke: at the GridIron dinner, I wouldn't put anything past this thing of pure evil.

1. Simple answer, Yes he can prevent the GE by doing an emergency rule... or
Military rule, which he has already set in motion.

2. I think from memory of what I've read here, yes he can do that.
These 300 and some odd days left of his presidency is/will be harrowing to say the least. It is very serious indeed

3. He can prevent the election and declare martial law.
There was an executive order on this two years ago, I think.

4. Yep, there was definitely something to that effect and as I recall...
Homeland Security was given broad and sweeping powers in that signed deal as well.
