I just can't take this bullshit about Spitzer.

This seems like the perfect time to Introduce Articles of Impeachment of Bush! Let's see the corporate media try to ignore that while they go on and on about Spitzer.

And then we have the Fallon story- we need to Impeach Bush now BEFORE they attack Iran!!!

Kucinich said he would do it at the State of the Union- what gives- does anyone know?

1. He had To Defend His House Seat--Which He Did Successfully This Week
So now he can file--although if Bush attacks Iran, he may not have to file alone!

9. Kucinich is Only One Person
To run for office means putting all your effort into public appearances and Get out the Vote activities. We don't have much of a functioning Democratic party system that anyone can lean on, even for Incumbents, and some places are even more Do-It-Yourself than others. He was facing a lot of vicious, organized and well-heeled opposition. It wasn't something he could delegate.

(Even in these dark days of Devolution, the GOP has more organization than the Democrats have ever had since the unions fell apart).

And for the same lack of a functioning party system, he couldn't delegate or pass on to some other House member the filing of Articles--because there's no one else willing to do the heavy lifting and become a target. We're dealing with cowards in Congress--which makes picking off the brave ones so easy.

12. He was in DC on January 28 to vote for naming a Post Office in California:

But I guess that he was too busy to introduce that impeachment resolution.

2. No longer a priority for Democrats here. We must work with/for the republics
in BO's unity nation.

3. We have to demand accountability for our presidential candidates
But Dennis was our only hope in Congress, and he seems to have backed down, as if AIPAC really did threaten him.
This is just so depressing to me. But they want us to be depressed, they want us to lose hope and give up so I cannot let them win. But what do we do now?

5. Just got this email from democrats.com
Spitzer Resigns - It's Time to Impeach Bush

Today Gov. Eliot Spitzer apologized again to the people of New York for his personal failings and resigned, just 16 months after winning an historic landslide election with 70% of the vote.

But Spitzer's resignation was not entirely voluntary, because Republican leaders were busy drafting Articles of Impeachment.

What was Spitzer's impeachable offense? The "lowest" crime in the book.

As we know, the Founding Fathers wanted Impeachment to be used for "High Crimes" like treason, bribery, war crimes, and subverting the Constitution itself.

Eliot Spitzer committed no "High Crimes" - but George Bush and Dick Cheney most certainly have, and they continue to do so with absolute impunity.

It's time for Congress to impeach them for it.

6. Now he has agreed to stop loss
he should have plenty of time! The Corporate media is always bored when Congress is out of session, maybe they will cover this. There are 400 activists fasting for Impeachment, maybe they will join Dennis on Capital Hill.

8. Right now! ... would be good
They are in secret session and Kucinich is not invited and this is precisely the reason Bushco should be impeached immediately.

"There are, however, four members who will not be allowed to attend the secret session, having refused to sign the oath of confidentiality. They are all Democrats: Rep. George Miller of California, Rep. Jim McDermott, of Washington Rep. Peter Stark of California, and Rep. Dennis Kucinich, of Ohio."
