One Day in Iraq costs $720 Million
Edited on Wed Mar-12-08 04:57 PM by DesertRat
When one calculates the many costs of the war in Iraq, the monetary loss is not only the dollars that have been spent on the weapons and machinations of war. The loss also represents all the various programs and efforts that could have been funded with the estimated $720 million per day which this war is costing. How would you spend it? This short but powerful video, created by the American Friends Service Committee, shows just some of the programs that might have been funded with the blood money being spent on this war.

1. Small price to pay to free the Iraqi people....
Free them from clean water, electricity, food, free them to try to re-build their infrastructure, free them to bury their dead children, free them to leave their destroyed homeland, free them to watch their children die in bombed out hospitals...Free...

this is war crimes and someone will have to pay, and they will pay dearly too.
