Whether you still love Keith or not, he had Michael Musto on at the end of his show tonight. Musto is always good for at least one memorable line.

And he outdid himself this evening, commenting on "Kristen's" recorded explanation of how she dealt with soon-to-be-former Guv Spitzer's untoward requests.

1. As an English Major...

...I'm very frustrated that I can't find the words to express how sick I was of "Kristen" two days ago, let alone today.

But I will admit that since I gave up cable TV in August, one of the shows I miss on a consistent basis is Countdown, and yeah...Musto was good for a "Theater of the Absurd" moment at a particularly heavy day.

I know that prostitution is supposed to be the "world's oldest profession." And I've seen stories today that suggest "Kristen" is going to get a mother-huge windfall profit from all of this.

I'm sure Hugh Hefner has his people calling her people as we speak.

I just can't get past the basic fact that her 15 minutes of fame are gonna come from the fact that she fucked a guy for money.

I apologize in advance if there's more substance behind her resume than I'm seeing, but I am really, really, really sick of "Kristen."

We all do what we've gotta do. She did.

4. Oh Well. Joe Bruno Isn't THAT Bad I Guess...

Just now I was listening to the show "CLOUT" which
is broadcast over Air America's New York City affiliate
WWRL-AM 1600.  A caller called in and said he liked the host's
take on the Elliot Spitzer affair.  I wasn't listening closely
until the end when he said.. "I think the problem is that
our economy is so dysfunctional that guys like Spitzer can
afford to pay $35,000 on prostitutes. This prices young women
like Kristen out of the economy so they have to become
prostitutes just so they can support themselves.  What SHOULD
happen is that people like Spitzer should have to pay taxes on
the money they pay to the prostitutes so girls like Kristen
should go to college and she doesn't have to be a
prostitute."  Listening to Air America is a chore
enough.. particularly lately.. but I HAD to chuckle at this
point which the host eagerly harrumphed his agreement to.  
Then I thought back to my brother last weekend who is trying
to consolidate two student loans but couldn't swing the amount
it would take to pay his student loans back on a ten year plan
and this is 9 years after graduation.    What should Kristen
do???  Go back to college and get a degree in history or 15th
century Spanish literature and then I suppose she can become a
barista at Starbucks while she waits for THAT to pay off.   I
guess she's sitting with her legs over the side of a boat in
San Tropez right now thinking of just how LONELY her
$5000/month apartment is now that everyone knows she's pulling
down $5000 bucks a night for a little ass wigglin'!!!! I feel
bad for Kristen.. I really do.. I'm 900 bucks short for my
rent in two weeks but at LEAST I have my dignity!!!   All
Kristen has is that $5000 joint and the memory of screwing
Elliott Spitzer... and damned WELL TOO for that kind of
money!!
