so many people are voting no they aren't worried. But in reality I am not worried about them spying on me. It pisses me off instead. It is against the constitution. It is another step towards a police state. It pisses me off even more that so many people don't care.

17. I'm not worried about them spying on me-I'm worried about them spying on my fellow Americans |
|
We can't trust them with important personal information. They inevitably abuse their powers.

4. No, but it did strike me a bit strange that I got a letter from the IRS |
|
yesterday questioning my 2006 return. The questioned items were easily answered, but they should have already had the info they needed and there should have never been a need for the letter. I know DU has made me a bit paranoid, but the first thing I thought of was is this being questioned because of things I've posted, or maybe it's just their way of getting more $$. I understand a lot of people simply pay what the IRS say they think they owe because they're so intimidated!
Well, not me! My response isalready done and going in the mail tomorrow. They're not getting the additional $1,805 they'd like!!!!

8. I understand that, but don't you remember Nixon used the IRS to get back |
|
at his enemies? I've also heard rumors that the Shrub admin has been doing the same thing!
I just find it odd that they're checking up on people who have a gross income less than $30,000! And before you ask, I never try to cheat on my taxes. I honestly don't own enough or could cheat enough to make it worth it!

at our "gatherings" in the 60's. They were the ones who did the most dope, drank all the Ripple and tried to screw the most women. You could spot 'em a mile away.

15. 70% of the people are in denial or are not paying attention |
|
and the Stasi only needed to keep actual files on 20% of the population, the rest just assumed they were spied on
So to a point that MIGHT be good... but they are still reacting to fear
