A Confession - I'm addicted to Celebrity/Gossip Sites.
Edited on Fri Mar-14-08 12:50 PM by El Pinko
Yup. Over the last couple of years, I've gotten into the habit of reading them every day. I know who Lohan is dating, whether or not Britney is in the looney bin...

I know that this info is utterly trivial...however- there was a time a few years ago, when I did nothing but focus on the war, the economy, Bush, election fraud, you name it.

And I ended up in a serious state of depression. It took a while, but I stopped drinking, started eating right and lost 85 lbs.

And I started reading silly gossip. It's entertaining and it takes my mind off all the serious crap in the world (not to mention my own worsening finances).

And if this helps to take anyone's mind off the bad stuff -

Today I baked up a dozen banana nut muffins - and they smell like heaven.

Don't forget to take time to smell the muffins...

4. Me too!
My favorite is dlisted.com. Full of snark. I like Crazy Days & Nights and Lainey's site. Sometimes reality is too much.

7. I confess I'm a reality show addict. Survivor, Amazing Race, Big Brother, Apprentice, Idol,

Bachelor (used to hate it) etc etc etc. When I had cable T.V. it was much worse! Real World, Osbournes, etc etc etc! Haven't had cable for a few years and I'm so tempted to sign up again because there are so many new reality shows I'm missing, plus I miss HGTV and Animal Planet. When the world gets to be too much, I escape with those shows, reading or working on something creative...that and some cookies-not muffins-meaning no disrespect to muffins that is. O8)
