Kyra P. CNN interviews Iraqi soldiers and they want Dems! |
|
Kyra has been in Iraq for a few weeks and was finally able to sit down with a group of Iraqi soldiers and interview them. She asked questions about if they were paying attention to our election, who they were pulling for and what that candidate could do for them.
Many of them said they follow the news reports very closely, as they want to learn about democracy since they have never had it. One hoped Hillary would write a book about democracy so they could learn more.
Kyra didn't give the numbers, but the on-screen votes were for Hillary with a couple for Obama. However, and most important, she asked if they would vote Republican or Democrat if they could and not ONE soldier said they would vote for a Republican, as they had lived under Republicans. They wanted the Democrats to win.
I wonder how Bush feels about that!

Bush will never see that piece
Rules around the world is that troops in uniform don't speak politics
I'm not so sure I like to hear that the Iraqi army allows their troops to speak politics to the press.

2. Maybe they know that Bush |
|
doesn't even want liberal democracy in America so there's no way he can create one in Iraq.
