A Reflection on the Fairness Doctrine
If there is one serious regret I have about something the Democrats have failed to address, it is their failure to seek a new updated Fairness Doctrine. Case in point: All of the major RW talk show hosts are mercilessly drubbing Obama on his relationship with his controversial pastor. These assholes are being blatantly racist in their remarks and comments, and yet there is no possible way that Obama can ADEQUATELY defend himself over the airwaves and to the audiences that the RW targets.
At the same time, RW churches are so very much in bed with and controlled by a master dark figure like the Reverend Moon. But you will never hear that over the airwaves - because its not allowed. The Fairness Doctrine would force OPEN COMPETITION over the nation's airwaves. And this is a nightmare of a thought to RW talk show advocates.
