Cluster bombs !

It is so predictable , once any issue grows out of the media there is a pattern .

First the issue hits the headlines ( the bomb drops ), then it goes into the speculation mode ( the bomb explodes ). Next it spreads out into the opinion mode ( the little cluster bombs spread out waiting for someone to pick one up ) .

Then the final stage ( a little cluster bomb is picked up and explodes ) this is the point when all the talk and news about the issue goes right down the memory hole .
