I filled up on Tuesday at $2.97 using a Shell gift card from my Choice Hotel Program. The points were going to expire so I grabbed the $50.00 gift card to get something out of the deal, otherwise I use my Discover card to get the 1% cash back bonus, which granted ain't much, but it's something.
