3. We must stand up as one!
The people of the United States must rise up as one, we cannot allow a men like George Bush and John MCcain continue to use our troops in a war as selfish as this! I campaigned with John Edwards in Iowa and Nevada, I did so for reasons such as these. We cannot sit idly by as men like John McCain try to take control of this country for selfish ambitions.
As an Irish immigrant, it gives me great pride to be a resident in this country, but I believe we are on the brink of a very critical general election in this country. The Democratic party must unite! We must stand up and say enough is enough! We will not have four more years of reckless war, we must unite with our European allies and fight the real issues in the world today. It is time to focus on countries that are crying out for help, countries like Uganda and Sudan. We cannot continue to turn our backs on those poor boys and girls who are dieing everyday due to the genocides. How can we claim to be the "moral country" if we ignore those who need us the most? Yet we invade countries that never asked us to, it is a travesty.

I am going to college in D.C. I will fight for the issues, as John Edwards stated many a time, "It's time we had a President with a little backbone, a little courage to stand up for the real issues of our time". I will preach that message at George Washington University, we cannot continue to wait for this world to change, we must fight for that change!

My brothers and sisters this Irishman will never stop fighting for these issues, let us come together now!

7. The original was a British WWI recruitment poster
from 1914, using the image of Lord Kitchener. It was copied by the US and many others. (See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lord_Kitchener_Wants_You) So in a way, that poster has already served the causes of war for almost 100 years!

10. 79,740
That's the number of people that will die in McCain's 100 year war (at current Iraq casualty rates).

I think the people that vote for his should be the first to volunteer!
