I'm thinking about organizing a huge DU meetup in Denver - in August (DNC convention) |
|

Just before the convention. Who's up for it? It *really* depends if I need to reserve a party room somewhere for the meetup. I know many of you are delegates elected or just want to come and support whoever is the eventual nominee.

Hawkeye, I work right downtown on the 16th Street Mall across from Niketown -- the law firm where I work has a roof patio. We could all meet there! (It's right above the Paramount Cafe and Marlowe's.)

9. Cool - do you think we could rent that patio or will your law firm let us use it for free? |

6. That would be interesting. |

Right now, I'm at the county delegate level so I'm not sure I'll be a National Convention delegate yet but if I end up as one, sounds good to me.

10. If I come count me in |
|
Still don't know if I can come. I teach and school starts that week. But I am nominated to be a delegate and if I win I will persuade my employer that I need to take off to do my public duty.
