Siegleman being BEATEN while incarcerated?
Don is a formidable force in Alabama politics. His friends are loyal and his supporters enthusiastic. They re-elected him Governor in the midst of a bogus corruption trial engineered by the Bush Justice Department at the behest of Karl Rove who takes orders from you-know-who. Don campaigned for re-election throughout the early phases of the trial. On election night he was declared the winner, but Karl Rove’s minions stole the election overnight by manipulating the ballots in Baldwin County. It was classic Rovian/Republican election theft. They did it with computers and electronic voting machines. Don went to bed the re-elected Governor of Alabama, and woke up an unemployed defendant.

Something that has not been reported is that they have been physically beating Don. I don’t know the extent of his injuries or exactly how many times it has happened – but it has been multiple times.

There are no words for the fury I feel. This is an outrage. And it is the most un-American thing I have ever heard. I cry bitter tears of frustration and rage.

1. I just have a hard time
thinking this is true. He is such a high profile prisoner. I can't put anything past the jailors as I have read of awful things happening in our prisons but....

3. Why give the benefit of the doubt to the black holes in the news, and not to
real people, crying out at injustice? Why presume Bush, Cheney, Gonzales, Rumsfeld, Rove and their local thugs innocent, and presume their accusers to be liars? They have slaughtered 1.2 million innocent people to get their oil, wounded and made refugees of millions more, orphaned 5 million Iraqi children, inflicted disease, personnel bombs and depleted uranium on many more, and have stolen all the aid money. They have encouraged a brutal, fascist prison system, here, in which rape and beatings are routine occurrences, and have filled the prisons (75%) with non-violent offenders--or the poorly defended innocent--to lard our tax money into the pockets of "prison-industrial complex" profiteers. They relish killing people, guilty or innocent. Bush executed hundreds in Texas, with giggling glee. They hanged Saddam--as the quintessential image of America to the world. So, why should we not presume that they have ordered beatings of Seigelman, until proven otherwise--rather than the reverse, presuming that they wouldn't dare beat a "high profile" prisoner, and their accusers are wrong?

And I haven't even mentioned the yet worse crimes that I suspect them of. Just the known crimes.

Why WOULDN'T they make an example of a high-profile Democrat whom they have in their clutches? It's what they do--fearmongering, blackmail, mobland tactics to intimidate and terrorize any who would dare oppose them. And they furthermore are continually ESCALATING the outrageousness of their crimes--using their spying system to take down a Democrat like Spitzer, and writing laws to immunize themselves for those illegal acts, and shoving those laws through a terrorized Congress; rounding up random people in Iraq and Afghanistan, imprisoning them for years without trial, inflicting horrors on them, and subjecting them to kangaroo military tribunals in which the horrors they have committed cannot be presented--and all of this--no doubt in my mind--not only to terrorize us all--the American people and other peoples--but also as cover for the torture and death of their real targets, the witnesses to their money trail to Al Qaeda.

And you are saying you have a "hard time thinking this is true"? Well, I don't. It fits their M.O. Terror. At home and abroad.

2. If so, it might be getting close to consider leaving
this country. I would check sources.

4. A claim made by an annonymous poster to a blog. This sort of claim should have a name
attached to it. Even if the original 'source' regarding "beatings" is kept secret, the poster making these claims should come forward.

I could make all manner of claims about anything, as an annonymous poster on a board.

Does anything tell us that even the mailing was from Seigleman?

It's hard to regard this as more than hooey until the poster steps up and claims authorship and legitimacy.
