It's the Economy, Stupid -- Free Coupons
Edited on Tue Mar-18-08 01:18 AM by better tomorrow
I have been reading on here the plight of so many of you as you reel from the current economy and just how hard it is getting to feed your family and buy groceries.

Here is something to help you as you clip coupons. Just go to this link and print some coupons for buy one get one free 7-UP. It is in the upper left hand corner to print your coupons with no hassle. You might have to install the coupon printer, but that is effortless, too.

And, perhaps you know of other links and maybe we can share them with all. Let's keep this thread going as we all pinch pennies.

http://www.7up.com/ Buy one Get One Free 20 ounce and 2 litre bottles of 7 Up.

http://coupons.smartsource.com//index.aspx?Link=5S2ZUA6 Several free coupons.....check the ones you want to print and check all seven pages.

1. Thanks for the thought, but seriously
in this economy I can give up drinking 7-up and other fizzy drinks that have absolutely no health or nutritional value (except don't they make one that's supposedly "healthy"?). Right there I saved myself the cost of one 7-up! Woot!

But, and this is non-negotiable, I will not give up chocolate. It's better than pharmaceuticals even though it probably makes my ass a lot bigger. :+

2. I agree. I don't like 7 UP either and can do without it, but....
some people might want to mix it with their nightcaps...heh, heh.

Here is another link for a lot of coupons. Again, probably none that are healthy, but there is one for Easter candy and with a lot of you with kids you might want to fill those Easter baskets and save 1.50....

And, the best part is that a lot of the stores in my area do the buy one get one or 10 for 10.00. With a coupon, you save even more.

4. that was my thought as well.
It seems to me that they only give coupons for the foods that have had anything that even looks like nutritional value processed out of them.

8. As someone who gets frequent hiccups (usually at least once a week)
that are only resolved by gargling of a fizzy drink, I cannot give up these drinks :)

Odd hiccups that only go away after a full night's sleep. The fizzy gargle only stops it for an hour or so.

12. Okay, thanks better tomorrow

I'll need that coupon because tonight I ate my daughter's hollow chocolate Easter bunny while she was sleeping. I needed a fix! The Easter Bunny will have to do some shopping now to replace the poor, eaten bunny.

Seriously, no ill will meant in my first post. I'll overlook anyone's 7-Up if they'll overlook my pizza rolls and chocolate.

14. see, glad I could help....
I had a chocolate fix tonight, too. But, we have a 1.00 store where everything is only 1.00 (not like Dollar General) and I sent hubby to it to get me some peanut butter eggs....

But, maybe Hershey's is better than the waxy hollow chocolate. Happy Easter!

3. There is also Angel food Ministries
That was originally posted here http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=353x1664 and DG posted a follow up after getting her first box. There is no income requirement. I have sent a few people here to them and they are happy with it. We may try it next month.

5. I clip online coupons all the time! My store doubles them too!
I don't GAS about 7 up, but there are lot of great coupons that can save you good bucks on things you use all the time. You may like to make fun of people who take the time to coupon, but I save $10 to $20 a week on my grocery bill.
