League of Conservation Voters report came yesterday. |

I may be off by a % point or too, but I think I remember it right.
This if for 2007.
Hillary Clinton scored a 73% pro-environment rating. Obama was in the mid 60s. One should note that LCV counts an absence as a negative vote and both candidates have several on environmental issues, probably because they are running for president. I'm sure 2008's numbers will be worse. Also, they each cast a couple of anti-environment votes.
By comparison, McCain has a perfect score, but in the wrong direction with 0%. Yep, not a single pro-environment vote in 2007. If I remember right, McCain cast two anti-environment votes and was absent for about a dozen others.
Among Congressional party leaders, D.s were usually in the 80-90% range with the R.s in single digits.
Please don't pester me for a link as this is from printed material that is sent to subscribers.
