I am so sick and tired of talking head equating Al Quadi with Iran... |
|
Edited on Wed Mar-19-08 11:33 AM by WCGreen
People, AQ is a radical sect of Sunnis, aligned with the radicals of Saudi Arabia...
Iran is a predominately Shi'ite country...
Iran actually helped us gain access to the northern wilderness of Afganistan...
They do not want AQ anywhere near their country...
Is it any wonder that we are bogged down in this freakin war when the people who are running it and the people who are reporting it are so wrong...
Or is it that they just treat us with such utter contempt and figure we will just lump all of the hostile factions into one big glob of AQ...
I guess that is the case...
Look at the culture we wallow in...
Instant gratification...
Easy solutions...
One insignificant event is blown out of proportion to define a life...
So it wouldn't be all that big a leap to just lump every shot taken at American forces to come from AQ...
The dumbing of America is going as scheduled...

1. McCain tried to tie them together. Even Holy Joe couldn't stand the lie anymore |
|
and corrected him. McCain is not fit to be President, it's that simple. He can't get basic information right, or he actively lies.

10. McSame would be too easy dropping bombs instead of |
|
really understanding the factions in each country, Sunni, Shite and Shia. McSame would not how to communicate with the Middle East, he would use bombs and death rather than diplomacy.

3. They think we're stupid |
|
And they're about 1/3 to 1/2 right, depending on how diligently BushCo are fanning the propaganda flames. Packaging 9/11, Terror and the War in Iraq
snip...
In a New York Times/CBS News Poll in September (2007), 33 percent of the respondents said Saddam Hussein was “personally” involved (in 9-11). In June, when Princeton Survey Research, polling for Newsweek, asked if “Saddam Hussein’s regime was directly involved in planning, financing or carrying out the terrorist attacks,” 41 percent said yes....

5. How about a "Mideast for Dummies" book |
|
we can send McCain, Fox News, radio hosts, and all the other ill-informed who just don't get that the Shia and the Summis are enemies. The people who attacked us on 9-11 were Al Quadi Sunnis from Saudi Arabia, a Sunni country. Hussein was the Sunni dictator of a Shia country who ruled through crushing all opposition. And now, the U.S. is paying rival Sunni gangs to attack Al Quadi (also Sunnis). Of course, those Sunnis being armed by us will (and have) use those weapons to attack the Shia, their enemies. And we helped! Meanwhile, Iran is another Shi'ite country, like Iraq. So, McCain, after being corrected by Lieberman, is correct. Iran is training "extremists" and sending them into Iraq. We're in the middle of a religious civil war because we have an administration run by oilmen. McCain, who claims to be the foreign affairs expert among the current contenders, doesn't understand the allegiances of the region, as evidenced by his major gaffe yesterday. Why do people continually look to these people to lead us when it's clear they're not knowledgeable? Totally mystifies me.

13. The confusion has been consistent, hasn't it? |
|
First AQ was confused with the Taliban, then they were confused with Iraq, and now they're confused with Iran.
Weeks ago there was a fascinating thread here citing an article that doubted the existence of AQ. The more I think about it, the more it really has me wondering. Perhaps the organization existed at one point, but what real evidence do we have that it exists today?

16. The US/CIA invented the Taliban/Al Qaeda; it 's our creation --- !!! |
|
Edited on Wed Mar-19-08 02:01 PM by defendandprotect
We did this thru the Pakistan . . .
We simply organized right-wing religious fanatics in Afghanistan . . .
see Zbijgnew Brezinksi who relates in his book and who told O'Reilly that . . .
"We went into Afghanist 6 months before --- 6 months before!!! --- the Russians went into
Afghanistan . . . in order to try to BAIT the Russians into Afghanistan . . . in HOPES of
giving the Russians a Vietnam-type experience." !!!!!
Now, consider that Nixon ARMED right-wing religously fanatic Israel . . .
and work it out from there . . .
