Is anyone familiar with this organization?
http://www.usmission.org/ this volunteer came by my house, he's going door to door for donations, he explained what they did and all so i gave $20 and i don't know if it was an act or what but i thought he was going to cry, he said $20 was the largest donation he got all day which if true is kind of sad. Anyhow, maybe i got taken, maybe not but their web site looks although they actually might do some good work. I disregarded the letter from Bush on there, it was from 2000.

1. Google
I googled your link and found the following on the founder Reverand Robert Humphphreys, not sure if it's the same guy that founded the same mission.

And the best recognition they could come up with is Bush when he was Governor?

5. Actually, they are a 501(c)(3)
I don't know if it is on the up and up or not, but they do have that tax designation and operate under a non profit status.

I thought this was interesting on the Kansas City link:
