Editorial toon on Dick Cheney's "So?" to question about overwhelming public opposition to the war
Edited on Sat Mar-22-08 10:58 AM by yurbud

Even ABC was shocked enough to caption this ''what Dick Cheney thinks of what you think'' and they underscore it in the interview by saying, "in a remarkable exchange...''

And Cheney Smirks and barely suppresses a giggle when he shows it.

This is not an impeachable offense but should give voters pause when they think about casting their ballot for another big business owned candidate, whether GOP like Cheney, or DLC corporate fifth columnists like Lieberman.

1. I wonder if he'll issue an apology?
Bwaaahhhaaahahahhaha... I crack myself up sometimes. Actually I'm looking for an emoticon for heartbroken, because I weep for what has become of America.

3. Well, if you remember the poor guy he shot in the face -- he's probably expecting US to apologize!
Sorry, can't remember the names right this minute.

7. Yep. I just remember him apologizing for everything he put Cheney and his family through -
while his face was still bandaged!!! Amazing.

5. This is a freaky thing to see up close
you know it's going on, you know the republicans don't care about anyone but themselves but to see it and hear it is incredible. It's incredible that the entire administration hasn't been brought up on charges. No one is doing a thing and that f***stick smirks because he knows they won't.

When asked how that assessment comports with recent polls that show about two-thirds of Americans say the fight in Iraq is not worth it, Cheney replied, "So?"

"You don't care what the American people think?" Raddatz asked the vice president.

"You can't be blown off course by polls," said Cheney, who is currently on a tour of the Middle East.

10. "NO. You can't be blown off course by polls," Is the proper quote.
I saw it on Gwen Ifill's show AGAIN yesterday morning. The transcript has been edited, but the video is still out there.
