which took place during WWII in Scotland. The main character, a young boy named Angus, is depicted training and working with the troops. It made me automatically cringe.

6. I have 2 sons

who were towheaded little tots when Nixon was on the nightly news lying about Viet Nam. I would stare back at the that ugly face on the tv every night and swear aloud that "he" would never get my kids.
I swore I would take them myself to Canada if they were drafted in later years.
My worst nightmare was that they would give in to the propoganda and want to join the military.
They are grown, anti-military, pacifist...thank god.

The pics above leave me saddened and enraged all over again.
